Daily Devotional: September 13, 2023 – Romans 6:14

Today we are talking about a very special gift from God. It's called grace. Grace is a big hug from God. It means God loves us no matter what.

In today's verse, God tells us we don't have to be afraid of making mistakes. We all make mistakes sometimes, right? But the good news is, we have God's grace. This means God is always ready to forgive us and help us to do better next time.

Imagine if you spilled juice on the floor. Would your mommy or daddy be mad forever? No, they clean it up and hug you. They tell you to be careful next time. This is like God's grace. It is God's way to clean up the mess and give us a big hug.

Dear God,

Thank you for your big hugs, thank you for your grace. Please help us to remember that when we make mistakes, you are here to help us clean it up.

Help us to be nice to others, just like you are nice to us. And help us to say sorry when we make a mistake and to try to do better next time.

Thank you, God, for loving us always, no matter what.
