Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Friends, today’s words from the Bible are like a big, warm hug from God. It tells us that we can say "no" to wrong choices and "yes" to God’s love.
Imagine you have a bag of candy. If you eat too much, your tummy will hurt. This verse is like a loving parent who tells you not to eat all the candy at once. God helps us to make good choices, so we feel happy and not hurt.
When we follow Jesus, it is like being born into a new, wonderful life where we are kind, loving, and good. We do not need to do bad things anymore because God is with us, helping us be the best we can be.
My Prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for loving us so much. Please help us to always make good choices and to say "no" to bad things. Help us to listen to your loving words in the Bible, so we can be happy and not hurt.
We want to be kind, like Jesus. We want to be good friends, nice siblings, and loving children. Thank you for being with us every day, helping us to be the best we can be.
